"There is a specific kind of feeling that you can only get days from the nearest road. In that rugged silence, I witness a spirit fueled by endurance. A raw, flickering flame that civilization usually hides. I don't just photograph a hiker; I capture the abstract geometry of their resilience, distilling the 'normal' struggle into a vision never before seen. I carry these moments back to remind us all what it feels like to be truly alive, and the life we were meant to live." 

My photography is deeply influenced by the surrealist collaborations of Philippe Halsman. I am drawn to the way they challenged the boundaries of the frame, and i strive to bring that same sense of 'directed energy' to all of my work.
